On a car that's still inside its manufacturer warranty, a remap can affect cover for engine and drivetrain components. If your car is in warranty, we'll talk you through the trade-offs before doing any work.

Stage 1 is a software-only remap — no hardware changes required. It optimises the existing ECU map for more power, more torque or better economy on the standard hardware. Most modern turbocharged engines respond well to a Stage 1.

On many diesels and some petrols, yes — particularly if the manufacturer's map was optimised for emissions compliance rather than economy. Real-world gains depend on driving style and conditions.
